Delete your account
How to delete your Pink Sky Tracker account and data. Pink Sky Tracker is published by Depentra Ltd.
Option 1: in the app (fastest)
- Open Pink Sky Tracker.
- Go to Profile → Delete account.
- Optional: tap Request a copy of my data to download your data first.
- Type DELETE and tap Delete permanently.
Your account is deleted immediately. This works for guest users too.
Option 2: by email
If you can't use the app, email james@depentra.com from the email address linked to your account, with the subject "Delete my account".
- If you signed in with Apple and chose Hide My Email, include the relay address. You can find it on your iPhone in Settings → your name → Sign in with Apple → Pink Sky Tracker.
- We may ask you to confirm the request, and we complete it within 30 days.
- Guest data isn't linked to an email address, so we can't find it from an email request. Please delete it in the app before uninstalling.
What we delete
- Your account and sign-in details, including your email address
- Saved places and preferences
- Alert settings, push tokens and notification history
- Sky report photos and notes
What we keep
- Anonymous forecast statistics from your sky reports: the rating, forecast score, model version, weather at the time, event time and an approximate location (a grid of roughly 5 to 10 km). They are no longer linked to you and help improve forecast accuracy.
- Purchase records kept by Apple, Google and our subscription provider RevenueCat, as required for accounting and tax.
- Backups and short-lived logs, which are removed automatically within 30 days.
Subscriptions are separate
Deleting your account does not cancel Pink Sky+. Cancel it in your App Store or Google Play subscription settings; see how to cancel.
